Projects
Under the guidance of the early years educators, children explore natural phenomena such as light, water, earth and fire, as well as their interrelationships, origins and effects, in the Discovery Room. Here, children are introduced to science, mathematics and logic through appropriate resources such as reference books, magnifying glasses, microscopes and a fully equipped water workshop. In the Einstein Room, which is directly adjacent to the Discovery Room, the children learn about numbers, quantities and measurements, as well as sorting and categorising. The children enjoy visiting both rooms very much.
The fun and enjoyment our children derive from physical activity prompted us to choose the focus area 'Physical activity in everyday nursery life' and to firmly establish it. Thanks to its architectural design, the building provides the ideal conditions for children to spend time on two different levels and to explore them. The way to the upper floor is via a wide staircase, which encourages children to climb up and down. Our building is suitable for all children who enjoy physical activity and meets their needs.
Our children have access to a large activity room that offers a wide range of opportunities for climbing, gymnastics and sports games. In addition, in the spacious outdoor area, children will find an interesting climbing frame that encourages them to engage in a wide variety of physical activities, such as sliding, climbing on ropes and climbing over swings. Children perceive and internalise movement from a new perspective.
