Introduction/specifics
The foundation of the educational work in the city's daycare centers is the Baden-Württemberg Orientation Plan for Education and Upbringing in Kindergartens and Other Daycare Facilities. This plan is implemented using the "infans Concept of Early Childhood Education" in conjunction with an open-plan design.
Based on the infans Action Plan for Early Childhood Education, the Orientation Plan is implemented at a high professional level. Within the open-plan design, the children have access to the entire building with all its stimulatingly designed activity rooms and learning areas. This open access to all rooms allows children to explore their own topics and interests in a focused manner.
It is our aim to take children seriously as independent individuals, to accompany and support them with care and respect. Accepting the diversity of children as normal and as an enrichment, and building upon their strengths and resources, is central to our educational approach.
Although the pedagogical principles are the same in all city-run facilities, each facility has its own unique profile.
We are a daycare center that has been around since 1974 and yet has remained modern. Here, village and city life blend seamlessly.
Our focus is on developing personal responsibility, resilience, and creativity. These values should be reflected in our daily routines.
