Basics

◆ Diversity

In our daycare center, we see diversity as a great enrichment. Every child brings their own personality, cultural background, and individual abilities — and this is exactly what makes our community so vibrant. We create a place where differences are valued and commonalities are strengthened. Through inclusive educational approaches, an open attitude, and appreciative communication, we enable all children to feel safe, seen, and a true part of our community.

◆ Language

Language is the key to the world — and that’s why we promote it holistically and playfully throughout everyday life. Whether through storytelling, singing, reading, or daily interactions: we use every opportunity to intentionally support language development. Our daycare offers a language-rich environment where children expand their ability to express themselves, learn early narrative structures, and discover the joy of speaking. We place great importance on individual support and language-sensitive practices.

◆ The Healthy Day

A healthy lifestyle begins in early childhood — which is why we place great importance on conscious nutrition and a mindful approach to food in our daycare. We receive weekly deliveries from a regional organic farmer and talk with the children about the origin, quality, and variety of foods.
Every Wednesday, we prepare snacks and small meals together, explore new flavors, and actively involve the children in every step.
In our raised garden bed, we sow, care for, and harvest seasonal plants. The children experience first-hand how vegetables grow and develop a natural understanding of sustainability and healthy eating.
This makes each day an experience full of enjoyment, learning, and responsibility.

◆ Exercise &  Motor Skills

Movement is a central part of our daily routine. We offer numerous opportunities for children to express their natural urge to move and to further develop their motor skills.
In addition to our outdoor area and in-house movement activities, we use the gym of the Stifter School or the VfB once a week, giving children plenty of space for diverse physical experiences.
Here they can climb, balance, run, jump, or try out new challenges at various movement stations. Through these expanded movement spaces, we get the most out of motor learning opportunities and support children in developing confidence, body awareness, and joy in physical activity.
